Autumn Photography Shoot: Planning Session

Session Review

During tonight's evening session I have visited the referred photography site in order to read and learn more about the camera's shutter and aperture. I can now comprehend that the aperture is the amount of light that is allowed through the adjustable camera hole. Whereas the shutter is literally a shutter that opens to initiate an exposure and closes to end the exposure and the term "shutter speed" is merely the amount of time the shutter allows the light from the lens to hit the digital sensor or film.

Furthermore, the slower the shuttle speed means more light will be let in and will create a blurred image compared to a fast shutter speed which lets less light in but is excellent for capturing an object in a motion similar to the Milk Drop Coronet by Harold  Edgerton in 1957.

In addition, I have begun to gather several concepts of what to photograph for my feelings towards the autumn period.  Moreover, after gaining a clear understanding of how the shutter and aperture work on the camera. I have started to consider the amount of and viewing examples of shutter and aperture manipulated photographs.
